Video Overview
Ningmena Rai knows various types of flutes. The one in this video is called 'Lingm' in Dzongkha, it is a six-holed bamboo flute and the most popular musical instrument throughout Bhutan. There are different types of flutes and each variety has a district name, blown under different circumstances. Some flutes blow in the morning, while cow herders blow theirs while they are on the pastureland, letting their cows graze.
སྙིང་མེ་ན་རྭའི་གི་ གླིངམ་གྱི་སྒྲ་མ་འདྲཝ་ལེ་ཤ་ཤེས་པས། གླིངམ་འདི་སྦ་གི་བཟོཝ་ཨིནམ་དང་ འདི་ནང་ལུ་དོང་དྲུག་སྤེད་དེ་ཡོདཔ་ཨིན། གླིངམ་འདི་ རྒྱལ་ཁབ་ནང་ལུ་ ལག་ལེན་འཐབ་པའི་སྙན་ཆ་ཡོངས་གྲགས་ཅིག་ཨིན། གླིངམ་ལུ་ རང་སོའི་ཁ་སྐད་དང་འཁརིལ་ཏེ་ ལྷམ་པ་མ་འདྲཝ་ལེ་ཤ་ཡོདཔ་ཨིན། ལ་ལུ་ཅིག་གི་ གླིངམ་འདི་དྲོ་པ་འཕུཝ་ཨིནམ་དང་ ནོར་རྫིཔ་ཚུ་གི་ ནོར་འཚོ་སྡོད་པའི་སྐབས་འཕུཝ་ཨིན་མས།
- ནིན་མིང་ན་རའི་ Ningmena Raiད་ ང་གིས་ གླིངམ་འཕུ་ནི་ཨིན། དང་པ་རང་ང་བཅས་སྒོམ་རྐྱབ་པར་འཛུལཝ་ད་ འཕུ་ནི་ཡོད་མི་འདི་འཕུ་གེ།Now im going to blow various type of flute. First of all am going to blow the one, which is blown when we enter into the silence meditation.
- ནིན་མིང་ན་རའི་ Ningmena Raiའ་ནཱི་འདི་ དང་པའམ་ཨིན་ ད་ གཉིས་པའམ་འདི་ ཆརཔ་རེ་རྐྱབ་ད་ དྲོ་པ་ཉིམ་ཤརཝ་ད་ དྲོ་པ་ལོང་སྟེ་ འཕུ་ནི་ཅིག་ཡོད་ འ་ནཱི་འདི་ དྲོ་པ་ལོང་སྟེ་འཕུཝ་ཨིན།This is first one, Now the second one is blown in the early morning, when sun is rising.
- ནིན་མིང་ན་རའི་ Ningmena Raiག་ར་འཕུ་དགོ་ཡ? གླིངམ་ལྷམ་པ་ ༡༨ རང་། ད་ གསུམ་པའམ་འདི་ ནོར་འཚོ་སྡོད་པའི་སྐབས་ལུ་འཕུཝ་ཨིན།Shell i have to blow all style. I mean all 18? Now the third one is blown when we are alone with cattle in paster lands. It is blown to trees and grasses while grazing cows. Listion it!
- ནིན་མིང་ན་རའི་ Ningmena Raiའ་ནཱི་འདི་ ནོར་འཚོ་བའི་སྐབས་འཕུ་སྲོལ་ཡོདཔ་ཨིན་ ད་ གཞན་མི་འདི་ ང་བཅས་ར་སེམས་སྐྱོ་བ་དང་ ཡང་ན་ སེམས་མ་དགའ་བར་སྡོད་པའི་སྐབས་ འདི་ཉན་པ་ཅིན་ ང་བཅས་ར་སེམས་དགའཝ་ཨིན་པས་ འདི་ལུ་ 'མ་ན་དུན' ཟེར་སླབ་ཨིན།It was blown while in the paster land with cattles. The next one is, when we are sad or become emotional, if we listion this one it will bring happiness. It is called MANA DUNE.
- ནིན་མིང་ན་རའི་ Ningmena Raiའ་ནཱི་འདི་ 'མ་ན་དུན' ཟེར་སླབ་ཨིན་ གལ་སྲིད་སེམས་སྐྱོཝ་འདི་ཉན་པ་ཅིན་ སེམས་དགའ་ཏོག་ཏོ་བཟོ་འོང་། དེ་ལས་ གཞན་ཡང་ ང་བཅས་རའི་ཚོར་བ་འདི་ཚུ་གླིངམ་གི་ཐོག་ལས་སྦེ་ གསལ་སྟོན་འབདཝ་ཨིན། ཨིན་རུང་མི་སྤྱིར་བཏང་གིས་ཧ་གོ་ཚུགས་པར་ལཱ་ཁག་ཡོད་རུང་ སེམས་དྲན་པ་བཏོན་ཏེ་ཉན་པ་ཅིན་ འདིའི་བརྡ་དོན་ཚུ་ཧ་གོ་ཚུགས། འདི་ལུ་ ལྷོ་མཚམ་པའི་ནང་ 'ས་དཱ་ན་ཀྲིད་དུན་' ཟེར་སླབ་ཨིན་པས།This is called MANA DUNE. When we are sad or emotional, if we listion this tune it will bring happiness. The next is when we are not able to express our feelings we can express it through flute tune. It is difficult to understand by ordinary people, thats why who ever concertate deep inside its tune they can understand it. it is called SADANA TIT DUNE.
- ནིན་མིང་ན་རའི་ Ningmena Raiའ་ནཱི་ལུ་ 'ས་ད་ན་དུ་ནི་' ཟེར་སླབ་ཨིན། ང་བཅས་ར་སྟོང་པ་ཉིད་ཀྱི་དོན་དག་ཧ་གོ་མ་ཚུགས་པ་ཅིན་ སྒོམ་ཉམས་ལེན་འབད་བ་ཅིན་འགྲུབ་ཚུགས་ འདི་ལུ་ང་བཅས་ཀྱིས་ 'ཨཱཏ་མ་བིཀ་དུན་' ཟེར་སླབ་ཨིན།This is called SADANA DUNE. When we are not able to understand another soul. Such as when we are not able to understand outer world. So this can be achived through meditation. It is called ATMA BIG DUNE.
- ནིན་མིང་ན་རའི་ Ningmena Raiའ་ནཱི་ལུ་འབད་བ་ཅིན་ 'ཨཱཏ་མ་བིཀ་ས་ད་ན་དུན་' ཟེར་སླབ་ཨིན་ ད་ སོ་སོ་འདི་ ད་དྲོད་དང་ ཁོད་སི་སི་ཡོད་པ་ཅིན་ ཨ་ནཱི་འདི་གིས་འདི་ ག་ལུ་བསིལ་ཏོང་ཏོ་དགོཝ་ཨིན་ན་ ག་ལུ་དྲོད་དགོ་ནི་ཨིན་ན་ དེ་ཅིག་གི་བར་ན་ ཡིད་ཆེས་བསྐྱེད་དེ་ གླིངམ་འདི་འཕུ་བ་ཅིན་ རང་བཞིན་གྱིས་སྦེ་བྱུང་ནི་ཨིན་པས་ འདི་ལུ་ང་བཅས་ཀྱིས་ 'སཱན་ནི་ཏ་ར་དུན' ཟེར་སླབ་ཨིན།This Is ATMA BIG SADANA DUNE. The next one is when it is hot or cold. For example when somebody want heat or fresh. Who ever belives in it, it will happen like magic. it is called SUNNY NETRA DUNE.
- ནིན་མིང་ན་རའི་ Ningmena Raiའདི་ལུ་ 'སཱན་ནི་ཏཱར་དུན' ཟེར་སླབ་ཨིན། ད་ མཇུག་རང་ང་གིས་ 'སུར་ཝ་ཀཱཏ་རིག་དུན' འདི་ཨིན་ འདི་གིས་ག་ཏེ་ཡང་ཁྱབ་ཚུགས།This is called SUNNY NETRA DUNE. Now at last i am going to blown long one and i am going to stop here. This is called SURVA KATRIC DUNE. It will reach every where.
