Tawpo of Tshatsi village sings an old song called "Shing Dan Shomo". The composer is unknown. It is said the song originated from the village elders. Today it is still sung by the people of Tshatsi village and uses the local dialect Tshanglakha. The lyrics say that if there is no head, no one to guide us, we tend to become frail and waste our precious time. It uses the example of "if branches are pulled out from the trunk, it becomes lean and frail and if the omniscient lama left, mandala would become lean and frail".
- ཏའུ་པོ Tawpoཨའེ་ཤིང་དང་ལ་ཤོག་མོ་འབལ་ན། །ཨའེ་རག་པ་ལ་ཤུང་ཤུང་རུང་རུང་། །If the brancehs are pull out from the trunk, the trunk becomes lean and frail.
- ཏའུ་པོ Tawpoཨའེ་བ་དང་ལ་ཐག་པས་སོང་ན། །ཨའེ་ཙོག་ཕུར་ལ་ཤུང་ཤུང་རུང་རུང་། །If cow is released from the lasso fastened post, the post becomes lean and frail.
- ཏའུ་པོ Tawpoཨའེ་མཚན་ལྡན་ལ་བླ་མས་འབྱོན་ཚེ། །ཨའེ་དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་ལ་ཤུང་ཤུང་རུང་རུང་། །If omniscient Lama is left, mandala becomes lean and frail.
- ཏའུ་པོ Tawpoལགས་སོ་ལགས། དེ་ཅིག་སྦེ་བཞག་གེ། །།Okay.. only this much, I have to sing.
