My name is Kharka Bdr Pradhan. I am from Chargharay and I am going to share few words or sentences infront of you all. First what I would like to tell is I am going to share a few proverbs. I will explain the meaning of the proverbs also. And it is like this.

ད་དཔེ་གཏན་འདི་ཡང་ ང་གིས་དམིག་ཡུལ་འདི་ཤིང་ སྟེ་རེ་གི་དམིག་ཡུལ་འདི་པུས་མོ།ད་ང་བཅས་རང་ག་གི་མནོ་བའི་ལཱ་འདི་ཚུ་མནོ་དོ་བཟུམ་འབད་འགྱོ་མི་བཏུབ། ད་འདི་འགྱོ་མ་བཏུབ་དོ་བཟུམ་འབད་རང་ ང་བཅས་རང་སྟ་རེ་ཤིང་གུ་རྐྱབ་ད་ ཕར་ཤིང་གུ་མེན་པ་རང་གི་པུས་མོ་གུ་རེས་རེས་པའི་དཔེ་གཏམ་ཨིན། ད་དཔེར་ན་ ང་གི་སེམས་ཁ་ལུ་ག་ང་དམངས་མི་གཅིག་འབད་ནི་འདི་གི་ གཡུས་འདི་ཡར་རྐྱལ་བཏང་ནི་གི་མནོ་བསམ་བཏང་འདི་ཧེ་མ་མཐོན་འབད་དགོ་ཟེར་བའི་དོན་དག་ཨིན།

I aim to a log but an axe aim to my knee.What I desire cannot be achieved or fulfilled. But it's not fulfilled, though I want to cut the log, unfortunately I couldn't aim to the wood and then it came towards my knee. And that is a proverb. Like wise what is my aim or desire for the village? Right now I am placed in Mangmi's position. I have to do something that is what it means. I shall bring development and if I happen to move forward.. [since I couldn't hit on the log, it split and hit my knee.]

རང་གི་ག་སླབ་ རོགས་ཀྱི་སླབ།རང་གི་ག་ཅིག་རང་འབད་རུང་སྒྲིང་སྒྲིང་སྦེ་འབད་བ་ཅིན་ རོགས་གི་ཡང་འདི་བཟུམ་འབད་རང་འབད་ཚུགས། ཡང་ནང་ང་བཅས་ལས་ཁོང་གི་ལྷབ་ཚུགས་ རང་གི་ལེགས་ཤོམ་འབདན་རོགས་གི་ཡང་ལེགས་ཤོམ་འབད་འོང་། རང་གི་ཟོགཔ་འབད་འབདཝ་ཡོད་པ་ཅིན་ རོགས་ཀྱི་ཡང་ཟོགཔ་འབད་འོང་། འ་ནི་འདི་རང་གི་ག་སླབ་ རོགས་ཀྱི་ཡང་སླབ་ཟེར་བའི་དོན་དག་ཨིན།

If "self" is praise worthy, then the world itself becomes a worthy place to live in.If any works is done in a systimatic way, others can also do it in a same way. In other ways, they can learn the skills from us. If we do good, others will be good to us. If we are bad, others will be bad to us. This is what it means by If "self" is praise worthy, then the world itself becomes a worthy place to live in.

ཨ་་་ ཕ་ག་བཟུམ་བུ་དང་ སོན་ག་བཟུམ འབྲལ་བུ། ང་བཅས་ཕ་ཚུ་གི་ལམ་ལེགས་ཤོམ་ནང་འགྱོ་འདི་ཡོད་པ་ཅིན་ བུཚ་ཚུ་གི་ཡང་ལམ་ལེགས་ཤོམ་ནང་འགྱོ་འོང་། ཏེ་རང་རང་ལམ་ལེགས་ཤོམ་ནང་མ་འགྱོ་བ་ཅིན་ ཨ་ལོ་ཚུ་གི་ཡང་ལམ་ལེགས་ཤོམ་ད་མ་པ་ལས་མི་འགྱོ ཏེ་ལམ་བཏོན་བྱིན་ནི་གི་འགན་ཁག་འདི་རང་ཕམ་ཚུ་རང་ཨིན།

Ahh.. Like wise... Like father, Like son. Like plant, Like seed.If father follows a good path, his children will definitely follow that path. If we choose the wrong path, the children are also going to be in a wrong path. So, it's who's responsibility to show children the good path? It's parents, either a mother or a father.

ལྕངམ་ལེགས་པའི་གི་འདབ་མ་ཧུམ་ཆི་ཆི་ ལྕངམ་མ་ལེགས་པའི་འདབ་མ་སོ་ཏོ་ཁོག་ཁོ། འདི་གི་དོན་དག་འདི་ལྕངམ་ལེགས་ཤོམ་ཟེར་བ་ཅིན་ ཡང་ན་ཆུང་ཀུ་ལས་རང་ མི་ག་རང་འབད་རུང་ལེགས་ཤོམ་འབད་འོང་པ་ཅིན་ འ་ནི་འདི་གི་ཤུས་ལས་ལེགས་ཤོམ་འོང་། ག་རང་འབད་རུང་ཆུང་ཀུ་གང་ལས་རང་ལེགས་ཤོམ་འབད་ བཙོན་འགྲུས་བཀལ་འདི་མ་འབད་བ་ཅིན་ འདི་ཤུས་ལས་ལེགས་ཤོམ་མི་འགྱོ

Good plant will have a smooth leaf, Bad plant will have a rough leaf.What does it mean? Good plant like.. Any kind of fruit or any person who is good or productive from the young age will always excel in life. Who ever is lazy and doesn't work hard will stay behind and will be same all the time.

ད་ག་དེམ་ཅིག་འབད་ང་བཅས་ཀྱི་སོན་གཅིག་བཙུགས་པ་ཅིན་ འདི་ལེགས་ཤོམ་འབད་མ་གསོ་བ་ དེ་འབད་རང་བཀོ་བཞགས་པ་ཅིན་ལེགས་ཤོམ་འབད་མི་འོང་མ་འོང་པ་ན། འདི་འབད་ནི་འདི་གི་ལྕངམ་ལེགས་པའི་གི་འདབ་མ་ཧུམ་ཆི་ཆི་ ལྕངམ་མ་ལེགས་པའི་འདབ་མ་སོ་ཏོ་ཁོག་ཁོ།

If we happen to plant a seed carelessly, that seed is never going to give a good fruit. That's why it's said; "Good plant will have a smooth leaf, Bad plant will have a rough leaf."

ཏེ་ཡོད་པའི་མི་གི་དགོ་དེ་རང་ཆེ་ ཏེ་མེད་མི་མི་གི་དགོ་དེ་ཆེ་འདི་ ག་ནི་ཡང་ཕན་མི་འཐོབ་ཟེར་དོན་དག་ཨིན།

If there is a strong desire to achieve in life, that person will achieve it. If there is no desire, that person will achieve nothing. So, that is what it means.

Chopping board's suffering is never known by the knief.What doen it means? Our suffering is never known to others. Our suffering is known to us only. If we happen to struggle, that struggle is known to us only, other's cannot see or feel it. Since he as struggled, he is good. But in today's era no one consider him a good person. Hence in the present time, it's up to us, what to do and what not to do.Envil's suffering is never known by the knief. what does it means? when we cut meat or vegetables by a knief, eventually it hits to an envil. Though the knief knows nothing, the pain is solely suffered by an envil. Only envil knowns his suffering. This is what we undertsand from it.

མ་བཟའ་གེ་ཟེརན་ཉི་མ་གཅིག་དཀའ་བཅད་བདཅ་པའི་ཤ། བཟའ་གེ་ཟེར་ན་ཨ་པ་ཆུང་ཤོས་ཀྱི་གདོང་། ཟེར་བའི་དོན་དག་འདི་ག་ཅིག་སྨོ་ཟེར་བ་ཅིན་ ཉི་མ་གཅིག་ཤ་བདའ་འདི་འགྱོཝ་ད་ བྱ་ཡང་ན་སྤྱ་བསད་དེ་ལས་མ་བཟའ་གེ་ཟེར་ན་ཉི་མ་ཅིག་དཀའཝ་བཅད་བཅད་པའི་ཤ་ བཟའ་གེ་ཟེར་ན་ཨ་པ་ཆུང་ཤོས་ཀྱི་གདོང་བཟུམ། ད་བསད་ནི་འདི་བསད་ད་རུང་ མི་གི་གདོང་བཟུམ་ཡོད་ནི་འདི་གི་ག་དེ་འབད་བཟའ་ནི་ཟེར་ཨིན་མས།

If not eaten, it's a whole day's struggle. If eaten, it looks like a step father's face. So, what does it mean?It's been hunting the whole day without water nor food. Usually while hunting it's sure that an animal or a brid is going to kill. So, that's why it's said; "If not eaten, it's a whole day's struggle. If eaten, it looks like a step father's face."

འདོད་པ་གི་བུམ་བཟོ་ འདོད་པ་ཆེ་ག་ནི་ཡང་མེད་འགྱོ ང་བཅས་མི་གི་འདོད་པ་བཀལ་དགོ་ དེ་འབདཝ་ད་འདོད་པ་མངམ་བཀལ་བ་ཅིན་ག་ནི་ཡང་མེདཔ་འབད་འགྱོ་འོང་། དེ་འབདཝ་ད་ང་བཅས་མི་གི་འདོད་པ་བཀལ་ནི་མི་འོང་ འདོད་པ་ཆེན་པོ་ཅཀའ་བ་ཅིན་ ག་ནི་ཡང་མེདཔ་འབད་འགྱོ་འོང་། འདོད་པ་ཟེར་ད་ལུ་རང་གི་སྒྲུབ་ཡོད་པའི་རྒྱུུ་ཚུ་རོགས་ལུ་ཡང་བྱིན་དགོ རོགས་བཀའ་ངལ་ཕོག་སྡོདཔ་ད་བྱིན་པ་ཅིན་རང་ལུ་ཡང་ལེགས་ཤོམ་འགྱོ་འོང་།

Greediness leads to profit, Profit leads to regret. We humans are greddy and we always have a limit to greediness. The more desire or greddy, the more regret it gives at the end. If we really have strong desire for greediness, then one day it will lead us to a disastor.
