Video Overview
The song Omchey Serley is a spiritual Zhungdra song dedicated to the tantric master, Guru Rinpoche. Various versions of this song are performed all over the country, but this version is distinct; the song has entirely different lyrics of that performed by the Royal Academy of Performing Arts, but the melody is the same. In the version sung by Gyangay Lham and her friend, the residence of Pedling Yabsey, master and spiritual son of Pedling, is described. In other versions of the song, Guru Rinpoche himself is described.
