- DAMthiŋ ŋaʈhe ʈhuʈhe ta meघर पाँच छ ओटा चिरापरेको छ।There are more than five cracks in my home.
- DAMsẽkona takre thepa ata thiŋkori ʈhiʈhe ʈja miअरू त केही ठूलो भएन, घरहरू आधा आधा जति चर्किएका छन्।But nothing too extreme. Most got big cracks on them.
- DAMantse tjari ɲiŋtse ŋeअनि धेरै नै डरलाग्यो, हामीलाई।We were all very scared.
- TEKthiŋri ʈutsi ki thaŋri kur phu ʈutseघरभित्र बस्नु भयो कि बाहिर पाल टाँगेर बस्नु भयो?Did you stay outside in tents after the earthquake?
- DAMa ŋi thaŋri kurphu ʈutseअँ हामी बाहिर पाल टाँगेर बस्यौँ।We did, we stayed in tents outside.

- TEKpʌiro ju pimo oko imuपहिरो पनि आउँछ भन्छन्, पहिरो आयो त?Did the landslides come too? Like they expected.

- DAMkʌ tsʌri jumoचुचुरोमा पनि आउँछ।Also came on the top of the hills.
- DAMhjuŋpatse tjopthjop thjop jumoढुङ्गाहरू धेरै ठूला ठूला आउँछन्।Huge boulders and pieces of rocks.
- DAMkhintseri ʈhi jumoबाटोमा पहिरो आउँछ।There were landslides on the roads.
- TEKantse ɲaŋ ole thaŋri nutse napa nʌpʌ tshʌpʌ tsiso te ataअनि हामीहरू बाहिर सुतेर बिरामी सिरामी लाग्ने चिसो केही भएन?Did a lot of people fall ill after sleeping outside like that?
- DAMokona tjã ata lele khju phutikotse deत्यस्तो त केही रहेन अरू बुढीबुढीहरूलाई चाहिँNot that much, but the older people did
- DAMtsiso laktitsu moचिसो लाग्यो होला।suffer from cold outside.
- DAMne name pitse mo leleबिरामी भयो भन्छन् कोही कोही।Some of them got really sick.
- TEKantse u tsʌri kimi ro lʌpri tsatsa hitsiki ahitsiअनि उनीहरूलाई अलि अलि सहयोग गर्न जानु भयो कि भएन?And did you go to help them a little?
- DAMjul miko rara riri ro lʌpʌगाउँले मान्छेहरूले एकले अर्कालाई सहयोग गरे।All the villagers helped each other.
- DAMnimko ta pile tʌrmʌr lʌpʌहामीहरूले त जे पनि बाँडफाँड गर्यौँ।We shared most of the things among ourselves.
- TEKantse sʌrkartse kor khamiki akhemiअनि सरकारले हेरचाह गर्न आयो कि आएन?And did the government come to provide some care for you guys?
- DAMsʌrkartse kor khʌli akhʌliसरकारले हेरचाह गर्न आए पनि नआए पनि,Even if the government came to take care or not,
- DAMthiŋ ʈaptshʌri tsitsi hap tsoŋte muiteघर चिरा परेकाहरूलाई आधा रकम दिने रे।those with cracked houses are getting half of the money.
- DAMtuŋra kaŋi kaʃate tele piŋ khʌtse otse a otsele khʌ aदुई हजार तीन हजार रूपैयाँ चाहिँ दिए, यत्ति नै होला अरू चाहिँ खै!They might have given two or three thousand rupees, that's it!
- DAMtsʌpse te atʌखानेकुरा चाहिँ केही दिएनन्।They did not give any food though
- DAMte akhʌ te akhʌकेही दिएनन्, केही दिएनन्।Nothing was given.
- TEKmui tsitsi saphko saphnʌपैसा अलिअलि त बाँडे?Little money.
- DAMʌ̃ mui toŋra kani kaʃako satsiअँ पैसा दुई तीन हजार चाहिँ सवैलाई बाँडे।Yes, two or three thousand was distributed to all.
